Gustavo Anaya — Auto Dealership and Real Estate Company Owner
Gustavo Anaya is an experienced salesman and business owner. In a career spanning almost 50 years, Gustavo Anaya has been successful as both an auto dealership sales manager and owner as well as a real estate investor and developer.
Mr. Anaya started out as a car salesman at the Atlantic Datsun/Volkswagen dealership in Los Angeles, earned a promotion to sales manager, and then purchased the dealership. His work earned a Datsun Quality Dealer award for outstanding customer service and sales. He ran the dealership for six years.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Anaya gained experience at several other car dealerships in Southern California, including World Nissan in Canoga Park, which he acquired in 1990, quickly growing it into one of the top 50 Nissan dealerships in the nation. Afterwards, he shifted his focus to the real estate field, making private investments and acquiring properties. He owned Grande Investments, a firm that managed more than 150 rental units.
Outside of work, Gustavo Anaya has had a civic presence. In Los Angeles, he served as a commissioner for the city Department of Water and Power and was a member of the L.A. County Economic and Efficiency Committee. He was appointed to the state Commission of the Californias, an organization formed to improve relations with Baja California. Now a resident of Nevada, he holds membership in the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and in the Latin Chamber of Commerce in Las Vegas.
